Lee has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a crayon. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee where she was an art major at Overton High School. She briefly studied art at Memphis State University but decided the classroom was not for her. She is a self-taught artist who believes you can learn anything you want with the right book and lots of practice.
She has experimented with oils, ink drawings, watercolors, acrylics, silk screening, weaving, stained glass, maps, photo restoration and collages. Recently her focus has been on artwork depicting Paris Landing, Paris & Henry County, Tennessee. Just as an oil painter would use a brush and oil paints, Lee uses a mouse and computer software to manipulate photographs to create a form of “new age” art. Her subjects for art are varied but she is probably most noted for detail and contrast.
Most of Lee’s works are available as reasonably priced Open Edition and Limited Edition Prints.  She does accept commissions.
