On Teaching Art to Children
In my experience with teaching children in various classes over the past fourteen years, I have enjoyed the responses from children when they are treated with respect. Children are more cooperative when adults who work with them are respectful by being good listeners, patient, kind and understanding.
Encouraging children to do their personal best is important. I am against comparing one child to another. Each child is an individual and should be led in a direction to develop self esteem. I believe in creating a positive learning environment.
